This restoration consisted of replacing the top globe and
matching it to the bottom globe, and replacing the hardware between the
two globes.
While the work was not particularly difficult, this was one that required careful matching of colors, as the pigments used in the original are no longer commercially available. A restoration such as this can run as little as $175 or as much as $450 depending on difficulty of color matching. |
